This artwork was created along with 2 others (pictured) in a series titled:
"It's Okay, Not to Feel, Balanced."
This series of artworks is about finding a sense of self in an unfamiliar place: Girraween National Park. Paint is applied to the back surface of glass panels making the front surface reflect the viewer, placing them amongst the abstract landscape. It is best to see these artworks in person if possible as the glass surface is highly reflective and it is difficult to capture the bold blocks of colour in a photograph without reflections.
These artworks are sold separately. Each comes fitted with a permanent white frame (pictured) as the frame is a structural element of the artwork and cannot be removed (along with the backing board). The front surface of the painting is very durable and easily cleaned with glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
Each one comes with a stand for display on a shelf or cupboard and one centre hook and a wire for wall hanging installation. The back of the artwork is signed by the artist.
This artwork is currently on display at Burrow Cafe, 117a Bridge Street Toowoomba QLD 4350. Free local collection is available but must be arranged and confirmed with the artist via email before collecting from the cafe.
